June Ipsy Bag

Hello everyone! I’m finally starting to get caught up with posts, and today I’d like to share my June Ipsy bag! There wasn’t a single product that I was disappointed to see!

The theme this month was Pretty in Paradise, and all the products were in a super cute and summery Rebecca Minkoff pouch.

The first product I got was actually a NYX butter gloss in the color Apple Strudel, and if you’ve been following me for a little while, you’ll know that Apple Strudel is my absolute favorite lip gloss. I’ve been meaning to repurchase it, but I haven’t gotten around to it yet, so getting it in my Ipsy bag was actually a great surprise!

Next up is this Dream Waves Beach Spray by Marc Anthony. I really want to try the Bumble and Bumble Surf Set to try to get that beachy waves look without actually going to the beach, but I always forget to pick it up when I go to Sephora. I really like this beach spray a lot! It smells like coconut and it gives my hair a ton of texture awesome waves that are perfect for summer.

I also got a sunscreen from MDSolarScience, so I can add it to my collection of sunscreen samples to bring with me on trips this summer. Usually I’m not a fan of getting a ton of the same type of product, but in the summer I don’t think you can have too many sunscreen options!

I love adding a pop of color to my makeup, so I was happy to get this really pretty green shimmer eyeliner in my Ipsy bag this month. I think I may have a similar color in my makeup stash, but this color is just so pretty, I can’t justify giving it away just yet. Maybe when I find the possible dupe, I’ll consider giving it to my little sister, but until then I’ll be keeping this as a quick summer makeup staple!

Finally, I was so excited to find a sample of the Laneige BB Cushion in my Ipsy bag, I think I may have squealed! This was the very first product I tried and I think I might actually pick up the full size! I’ve gotten about two applications out of the medium sample, and I actually love the way it wears. I’ve never had the experience of using a base product that looks better as the day goes on until I used this BB Cushion! I’m completely new to the BB Cushion phenomenon, but so far I’m liking what I’m seeing! If I end up purchasing the full size, I’ll definitely post a review and link it here.

Here are some swatches of the lip gloss and the green eyeliner. Now that I think about it, they make a great pair!

  1. When I saw everyone showing their Ipsy bag this month, it really made me wish I was a subscriber! Or if there was a way to just buy this bag, glad you enjoyed everything!
